Carer's Emergency Cards exist to give carers of any age peace of mind in the event of an emergency. This free service helps to ensure that those you care for receive support if you are not able to be there for them.
By carrying an Emergency Card with you, emergency services know you are a young carer and can place a call to ensure your family/friends know what has happened and that the person that you care for receives a visit to arrange emergency help. You can apply for a free emergency card here or by calling Nottinghamshire County Council on 0300 500 8080.
Please note, this service excludes residents in Nottingham City. If you are a young carer in the city, please contact Young Carers Notts or the Carers Federation for access to young carers ID cards.
