Frequently asked questions
IAF are specialists in supporting young people aged 16-26.
The easy answer is if you're between those ages and currently unemployed, then we can help you overcome all/any of the barriers that are preventing you from gaining work and can then help you find, and keep the job you've working towards.
When it comes to breaking down those barriers, some examples include; support with your mental health, gaining qualifications, learning how to manage behaviour, understanding budgets, CV writing, support for offenders, advice on substance misuse. We offer a variety of packages to suit almost every need.

If you feel you need a little extra support, you're in the right place. You can make a self-referral onto our programmes via the contact us page. A member of our team will then reach out to you to discuss the support available and find the best fit for you.
There are lots of ways to contact The Inspire and Achieve Foundation so you can pick the one you are most comfortable with and reach out here.
Yes! We love connecting our service users with local opportunities so if you have roles that are suitable for young people, do send them through to us. Our Space is our dedicated discord server that serves as a community noticeboard to mobilise, engage and connect young people. Listings shared with IAF will be posted to Our Space and Mentors/Team Leaders will signpost to relevant roles in their discussions.
If you know of, or work for, a shared community space or venue that could use a makeover, we'd like to connect!
IAF are excited to invite community groups, venues, and fellow charities to nominate community renovation projects for our youth volunteers to engage with. As part of support programmes like the Prince's Trust Team programme, our young people are required to contribute their time and skills to enhance local spaces which benefit the broader community. Whether it’s planting trees in local parks, designing community gardens, or repainting charity facilities, we welcome all nominations that provide opportunities for young people to engage meaningfully in improving spaces that bring people together and foster a stronger, more connected community.
To nominate a community project in Ashfield, Mansfield or Worksop, please complete the form here.
