: Ashfield Youth Hub
The Ashfield youth hub was set up in partnership with ATTFE College and Ashfield DWP to connect with our Mansfield hub to bring our trusted youth services to young people across Sutton in Ashfield, Kirkby and Hucknall. As well as housing our mentoring service, the Ashfield youth hub is also home to our King's Trust Team programme who make use of the classroom and facilities when they are not out and about in the community.

The Hub at Sutton Young People's Centre is a fully accessible venue with toilets, social areas and classrooms on the ground floor. Young people accessing the hub can make full use of their own kitchen area to make tea and coffee and access free basic food supplies such as breakfast cereals, bread, squash, teas and coffee etc. As many of our service users have learning difficulties and poor mental health, there are a range of high and low sensory spaces and breakout areas across the site. Sensory aids, such as fidget toys and noise cancelling headphones, are also readily available and free to access and our registered Pets as Therapy dog, Boomer, is often on site to help those struggling with emotional regulation.
Visitors should also be aware that for the safety and security of our young people and staff, some doors across the site are kept locked - please ring the bell on arrival and sign in using the visitors book.
Our Ashfield Youth Hub is easily accessible via public transport and the Trent Barton Threes bus, connecting Nottingham, Hucknall, Kirkby Ashfield and Mansfield, stops at Sutton Bus station which is a short walk from our venue. If you would prefer to drive, free parking is available on site.
